Applications are an integral part of any smartphone; without using any application, you will not be able to get the most out of your smartphone. Applications actually decorate your communication devices.

How to fix iPhone and iPad apps freeze

Every time an application freezes, it is the most exasperating moment because there is a kind of stagnation on the screen; the application does not move forward or backward. In this situation, you would like to turn off your iPhone or iPad immediately. This could be quite useful at such an annoying time; but there are also other alternative solutions.

Touch the application you were downloading

While there are many merits to a sensitive touch screen, it also has its own demerits; an unintended soft touch can initiate another action. And if you have accidentally touched the application, which was being downloaded to your iPhone iPad, there is a chance that the application will stop; this means that your iPhone stops the download. You can easily notice it on the screen of your phone, where you can see “Pause” under the application. In this case, simply touch the application again and the download will resume.

Have you checked your wifi connection?

Typically, users tend to use the Wi-Fi connection to download applications. If there is a technical problem, the download will stop for a few seconds. But there is no guarantee that it will resume once the Wi-Fi connection is stabilized. Therefore, you may need to start the download process again after you recover your Internet connection.

Restart your iDevice

This is a unique remedy for many diseases. Joking aside, rebooting your device can solve many larger and smaller problems. So, when you see an application freeze during the download procedure, reboot your iPhone or iPad. Press and hold the Home button and the Power button simultaneously until an Apple logo appears on the screen. After restarting, check the status of the application you want to download; if the application disappears, download it again from the App Store. If the problem is not solved, look for the following solution.

Delete and reinstall application

For the most part, your iOS would support this action. Delete the application and reinstall it. Press and hold the application until all applications start moving; you may see a delete icon (x) in the upper left of all applications. Confirm the action by touching the Delete button when prompted to delete the application. If the application disappears from your iPhone, please reinstall it.

Download another application

Sometimes strange solutions work and this could be an alternative solution for you while facing an application freeze problem. Download another application from the App Store and it will probably resume downloading the paused application.

Quit iTunes and reboot your device

Step 1. Open the Settings application on your iPhone iPad † Tap on iTunes & App Store.

>Step 2. Tap your Apple ID.

A>

Step 3. Tap Logout.

>Stage 4. Login to iTunes & App Store with another Apple ID.

If not resolved, frozen applications can be a headache for users and therefore the issue should be addressed as soon as possible. Placing the application icon somewhere on your phones screen is not a solution, as every user is eager to use the application.
