When you are in the middle of an interesting article on a website and you see a link that is equally interesting, use Command + click on the link. This will open the link in the browser in a new tab, without altering the active tab.

9. Control + Shift + Power
If you are in the middle of something really important, and need to get out of your Mac, simply press Control + Shift + Power This will put your Mac into lock mode, without sending it to sleep. Therefore, anyone trying to access your Mac will have to enter the password.

10. Command + Shift + V ¿
Try copying and pasting something from the Internet and end up with strange text formatting? Try pasting with Ctrl + Shift + V . This shortcut will remove all the formatting, making it easier for you to format it the way you want.
